Tuesday Night Visitation

You would be suprised at how many people tell us that they have never been invited to Friendship Baptist Church. All that is changing now. If you want to go door to door witnessing and inviting folks to come to church, we meet every Tuesday at 7:00 P.M. We go out in pairs. You can see the fruits of this labor through the many new faces in our church. Come help us this Tuesday!!! Light refreshments are served afterwards in the Social Hall.

Bus Ministry

Know anyboy that doesn't have a ride to church? Let us know we would love to pick them up. This is an important ministry. Many children do not have a way to church. It is our reponsibility to get them here if their families won't. Did you know Pators Mike was picked up as child and brought to church through the local Bus Minstry. Pray and see if God is leading you to help us in our own Bus Ministry. Contact Dereck Tucker for more details.

Washed Whiter Than Snow?

We want to take the Gospel to where people are at. Many people go to the Laundry Mat everyday. Wouldn't it be great if they knew that Jesus was also in the cleansing business!!! We have special packages that contain one load's worth of washing powder,a tract about having our sins washed white as snow, and a church contact card.We take these to the area laundry mats and witness to the folks there. Before we leave we place one on the top of each washer. It's easy and a lot of fun!!!

Backyard Bible Clubs

Ride down any street in Honea Path and you will see plenty of kids, many of which never go to church. Doing a Backyard Bible Club is a great way to reach them for Christ. It is kind of like a minuture (2-3 hours) Vacation Bible School. This works well at apartment complexes and trailer parks. We have plenty of open doors for this ministry in our area. Our Bus Ministry could provide rides to church for those who would like to join us at Friendship.

Free Ice Cream Truck

Another great way to reach our area youth is with a Free Ice Cream Truck. It really is a lot easier than it sounds. We have a system that can be hooked up to the Church Bus for Ice Cream Truck Music. It can be mounted for temporary use. Ice Creams are really cheap at places like Sam's Club. You basically just ride around like an Ice Cream Truck, blaring music, and giving out ice cream. We would also give out tracts, coloring pages, Bibles, and contact cards.
